Accessing and Using the My Financial Aid Portal

What is the My Financial Aid portal?

The My Financial Aid portal provides online access to financial aid application and award information to students who are enrolled to Scripps College.

Applicants and those recently admitted students who do not yet have a Scripps College email address will access their financial aid application and award data via the Admission Applicant Status page.

Can I access the My Financial Aid portal, if I have applied for admission?

Only enrolled students who have received their Scripps College email address and network credential can use the My Financial Aid portal. If your are an admission applicant or a recently admitted student, you can see your financial aid information on your Admissions Applicant Status page.

What can I see on the My Financial Aid Portal?

Enrolled students can use the My Financial Aid portal to see what applications and documents they have submitted, and also see what applications and documents are still outstanding.

If your award has been finalized, you will be able to view your awards and your cost of attendance. Before we will be able to disburse your aid, you must accept or decline each award for the academic year in the portal.

Students who receive need-based aid will also be able to access their financial aid College Financing Plan.

Finally, you can use the My Financial Aid portal also see important messages about your awards, documents, and your general eligibility.

Where do I find the My Financial Aid portal?

The My Financial Aid portal can be access from the financial aid homepage  or by visiting myfinancialaid.scrippscollege.edu.

Can my parent have access to my My Financial Aid portal?

The My Financial Aid portal is designed to be used by the student using their Microsoft SingleSign-On (SSO) authentication process. Unfortunately, we are unable to grant separate parent access.

How do I access the My Financial Aid Portal for the first time?

Enrolled students will access the My Financial Aid portal using our Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO) process.  This is how you also access Office 365 and your Scripps College email account. Other college systems will be migrating to this SSO process in the near future.

If you are recently admitted and don’t yet have your Scripps College email account credentials, you may access financial aid application and award information via the Admission Applicant Status Page.

Students admitted for fall generally receive their SSO login credentials in early June. Students admitted for spring generally receive their SSO login credentials in early January

What if I have forgotten my password or I can't log in?

If you are having difficulty logging into the My Financial Aid portal, or you are asked to enter your student ID number instead of your Scripps College email address, you may have bookmarked an old web page or accessing an old web page from your browsing history or cache.  Please try logging in with new internet browser or clear your browser history and cache.

If you need help resetting your password, contact Scripps College IT department at help@scrippscollege.edu or 909 607-3406.
