Lisa Stidham teaches group and applied voice at Scripps College and Vocal Pedagogy at USC. She is also a Vocal Coach for the Los Angeles Children's Chorus, and a Past President of the Los Angeles Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing. She holds a DMA in Vocal Arts from USC, an MM in Voice from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and BA and MA degrees in musicology from UC Santa Barbara.
Ms. Stidham has appeared on opera and concert stages in the United States, Europe and South America, presenting repertoire ranging from the music of Dowland and Monteverdi to Villa-Lobos, Bach to Britten, and especially current American composers, such as John Harbison, Stephen Hartke and Donald Crockett. Her performance on New World Records of Stephen Hartke's Sons of Noah was hailed by New York Times' critic Anthony Tomassini as "a tour-de-force."
