More Scripps: The Campaign for Scripps College

When More Scripps: The Campaign for Scripps College launched in 2013, campus leaders identified a new residence hall as Scripps’ most critical building priority. Less than a year later, Scripps received a generous $10 million lead naming gift to advance the project, which is being temporarily identified as NEW Hall.

Thanks to that $10 million gift, a $1.1 million gift from the Georgia B. Ridder Foundation and other early commitments, construction is currently underway. However, additional support is needed to complete the $25 million project which is scheduled to open in fall 2016.
