Accessing and Using the My Financial Aid Portal

The My Financial Aid portal provides online access to financial aid application and award information to students who are enrolled or have been admitted to Scripps College.

Only admitted and enrolled students can use the My Financial Aid portal. If your are an admission applicant, you can see your financial aid information on your Admissions Applicant Status page.

Admitted and enrolled students can use the My Financial Aid portal to see what applications and documents have been submitted, and also see what applications and documents are still outstanding. If your award has been finalized, you will also be able to view and accept or decline each award for the academic year. Students who receive need-based aid will also be able to access their financial aid shopping sheet. Finally, you can use the My Financial Aid Portal also see important messages about your awards, documents, and your general eligibility.

The My Financial Aid portal can be access from the menu above or by visiting myfinancialaid.scrippscollege.edu.

The My Financial Aid portal is designed to be used by the student. Unfortunately, we are unable to grant separate parent access at this time.

If you are a first time user of the My Financial Aid portal, you will need to identify and authenticate yourself using your Scripps College ID number, your SSN/TIN, and your date of birth.  Then you’ll establish answers to 2 security questions you have selected, and create a password.

Your password must be at least 9 characters long
Your password must contain at least one upper case and one lower case character
Your password must contain at least one number
Your password must contain at least one of these special characters: !@#$%^&*()

You will find a link for First Time User access on the My Financial Aid portal home page. If you don’t have an SSN or Taxpayer ID (TIN), you can contact the Office of Financial Aid for assistance with first time user authentication.

If you have forgotten your My Financial Aid portal password, you can reset it by answering the security questions you established when creating your initial password. You will then be asked to create a new password.

Your password must be at least 9 characters long
Your password must contain at least one upper case and one lower case character
Your password must contain at least one number
Your password must contain at least one of these special characters: !@#$%^&*()

You will be asked periodically to update your new password.  Repeated passwords are permitted after 5 changes.

If you do enter your password incorrectly 3 times, your will be locked out of the My Financial Aid portal to ensure security. If this happens, you may call the Office of Financial Aid at 909-621-8275, and we can help you unlock your account. We are happy to help you use this important tool.
