Susan Rankaitis – Art

 

Professor Rankaitis’ work was featured in the following exhibitions:

  • “Photofair,” Shanghai, China, fall 2017;
  • Paris Photo, “Ouveres” Grand Palais, Paris France, November 2017;
  • New Mexico Museum of Art, “Shifting Light: Photographic Perspective” Santa Fe, New Mexico. The show continues until early October 2018.

Her work was reviewed in “Shifting Light” El Palacio Magazine, Winter 2017/18 pg. 37.

Her 2013 in-person oral interview with writer/venture capitalist Brian Dear is referenced in a recently published book The Friendly Orange Glow: The Untold Story of the PLATO System and the Dawn of Cyberculture, Pantheon Books, about the history of CERL (Computer Based Education Research) /PLATO (Programmed Logic of Automated Teaching Operations at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana) where she worked full-time as a research assistant/artist/photographer for 4 years (1971-75).
