| Professor Huang wrote, produced, and performed “LA Chinatown Massacre of 1871 Commemoration,” a multimedia-performance event with narration, videoscape, soundscape, and improvisations on Chinese and Western instruments, at Scripps College Boone Recital Hall, October, 2019. A second performance sponsored by the Chinese American Museum and co-sponsored by the Kellogg Foundation Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation (TRHT) Program took place at the Pico House in the El Pueblo Historical District, Los Angeles, CA, October 24, 2019.
He received an invitation to perform and teach as guest artist at Northern Caribbean University, Jamaica, September 2019. Professor Huang’s paper was accepted, and he was invited to participate in the Twentieth International Conference on Diversity in Organizations, Communities & Nations at University of Milan, Italy, 2020. |
