Deconstructing paradoxes: lightness in weight, emptiness in mass, contemporary in traditional, time in an instant, rational in the intuitive, this is the challenge of my artwork. Can art objects convey valid opposing truths within the four seconds or less we have as artists to grab the attention of our audience? Can a singular object be heard in the noise of contemporary life?
