Music Facilities at Scripps College
Scripps College possesses fine music facilities in the Performing Arts Center of Scripps College, which was dedicated and opened in Fall 2003 and includes the George and MaryLou Boone Recital Hall, Nancy Glanville Music Library (housing an extensive collection of musical scores and recordings), Garrison Theatre, spacious teaching studios, practice rooms equipped with grand pianos and harpsichords, and a keyboard/computer music lab. Balch Hall is also used frequently for Friday at Noon Concerts and faculty recitals. Students also have access to Denison Library at Scripps and to the Honnold Library with its substantial music holdings.
