Vote Won’t End Ugly Politics, Says Vanessa Tyson in SF Chronicle Article

The candidates

The weekend before Election Day, associate professor Vanessa Tyson was quoted in a San Francisco Chronicle article about what to expect following the nastiness of the presidential campaign between contenders Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Tyson is assistant professor of politics at Scripps College and author of the recently published book, Twists of Fate: Multiracial Coalitions and Minority Representation in the US House of Representatives. The latest issue of Scripps magazine features a conversation between Tyson and Poppy MacDonald ’97, alumna and president of POLITICO USA, about the 2016 election.
