DESCRIPTION:Scripps College begins its centennial year by honoring Simone Biles with the Ellen Browning Scripps Medal—its highest honor—for women embodying confidence\, courage\, and hope. \n\n\nThe most decorated gymnast ever with 41 medals\, the Presidential Medal of Freedom\, and TIME’s 100 Most Influential People\, Biles continues to inspire others by her perseverance\, advocacy\, and youth work with Friends of the Children. \n\nThis medal ceremony launches a yearlong celebration of Scripps’ 100 years of empowering women leaders. \n  \nJoin us for a campus-wide outdoor watch party on Mudd Quadrangle ! Enjoy a photo booth\, giveaways\, and some tasty treats as we cheer on Simone together.
