DESCRIPTION:The Scripps Music Department welcomes the Catalyst Quartet to campus for the annual Bessie Bartlett Frankel Chamber Music Festival. The Grammy Award-winning Catalyst Quartet was founded by the internationally acclaimed Sphinx Organization in 2010. The ensemble (Karla Donehew Perez\, violin; Abi Fayette\, violin; Paul Laraia\, viola; and Karlos Rodriguez\, cello) believes in the unity that can be achieved through music and imagine their programs and projects with this in mind\, redefining and reimagining the classical music experience. \nThe concert will be held in Balch Auditorium at Scripps College\, 1030 Columbia Ave\, in Claremont. \nThursday\, October 22. \nDoors open at 7:30 p.m. and Concert begins at 8:00 p.m. \nAdmission is free and open to the public. \nFor more information\, contact the Scripps Music Department at 909-607-3266.
