“Renewal: the Joy of Music”

The Mei Duo

Works by Beethoven, Liszt, Debussy, Margarethe Danzi and William Grant Still.

The Mei Duo has been awarded grants for excellence in performance and scholarship by both the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities.  Scripps faculty Rachel (adjunct professor of music) and Hao Huang (Frankel Endowed Chair in Music) have performed at such venues as Merkin Hall in Abraham Goodman House, Coolidge Auditorium in the Library of Congress and the National Museum of Women in the Arts, Washington, D.C..
