Minor Feelings: Cathy Park Hong in Conversation

A conversation with the National Book Critics Circle award-winning author

Cathy Park Hong is an award-winning poet and essayist whose searching work ruthlessly reckons with the American racial consciousness. Weaving together personal stories, historical context, and cultural criticism, Minor Feelings, was a 2020 National Book Critics Circle Award winner. Jade Chang, author of The Wangs Vs. the World, joins her for a honest conversation on race and Asian American identity, reflecting on the ways politics and culture are influenced by art—and vice versa.

This program is presented in partnership with Scripps College CORE.
