Scripps Presents a presentation from Dr. Mi’Jan Celie Tho-Biaz

Dr. Mi’Jan Celie Tho-Biaz, is a cultural leader, oral historian, and documentarian. One of Santa Fe New Mexican’s 2017 “10 Who Made a Difference” and the 2019 recipient of the University of San Francisco’s 2018 “Living the Mission” award, Tho-Biaz is the founder and director of the New Mexico Women of Color Nonprofit Leadership Initiative at the Santa Fe Community Foundation and also teaches at the Banff Centre. She has recorded an oral history by Ken Gonzales-Day, Fletcher Jones Chair in Art and professor of art at Scripps, focused on California BIPOC liberation.
