DESCRIPTION:The Joint Music Program of Claremont McKenna\, Harvey Mudd\, Pitzer\, and Scripps Colleges presents\nThe Claremont Concert Orchestra\, The Claremont Concert Choir\, and The Claremont Treble Singers.\nThis concert features performances by the orchestra and choirs as well as a combined choral-orchestral work\, Fukushima Requiem by Jeffrey Bernstein\, dedicated to all the people of Tohoku\, Japan.  The orchestra will conclude the concert with Robert Schumann’s Fourth Symphony. \nThere will be two performances. An evening concert at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday\, December 6 and a Sunday matinee at 2:00 p.m. on December 7. \nConcerts will be held in Garrison Theater at the Scripps College Performing Arts Center. \nAdmission is FREE and open to the public.\nContact the Joint Music Office for more information. 909-607-3267
