At Wesleyan\, Roth has overseen the launch of major academic initiatives\, including the Allbritton Center for the Study of Public Life and the Shapiro Center for Writing. A historian and curator\, Roth has published and edited numerous books and essays exploring how individuals and societies make sense of the past.
