The Scripps Presents @Noon series incorporates a diverse range of artists, authors, activists, and scholars in an intimate setting that is interactive with students, faculty, staff, and the greater community. Please feel free to bring your lunch as this is a noontime program.
Jean Chen Ho is the author of Fiona and Jane, named one of TIME’s 100 Must-Read Books of 2022, a Best Book of the Year by NPR, Vulture, Vogue, Oprah Daily, Glamour, Harper’s Bazaar, and Elle, and longlisted for the 2022 Story Prize. Her writing appears in New York Times Magazine, The Cut, Electric Literature, Los Angeles Times, Georgia Review, GQ, Harper’s Bazaar, Guernica, and elsewhere. Jean is the 2023 Mary Routt Endowed Chair of Writing at Scripps College.
