The QuestBridge National College Match is a college and scholarship application process that helps outstanding low-income high school seniors gain admission and full four-year scholarships to the nation’s most selective colleges.

How to Apply as a QuestBridge Non-Finalist, Non-Participating Finalist, or Non-Match Finalist:

Submit the following materials to Scripps College by the deadlines listed below:

  • Scripps QuestBridge Application Form Application is available only during active application process. (Your application fee is automatically waived upon submission of this form)
  • Official high school transcript(s), mailed or emailed directly by your counselor to [email protected] with the subject line Non-Finalist, Full Legal Name, Official Transcript.

Standardized Testing Policy

  • Submitting SAT or ACT exam scores is completely optional.
  • Students will not have to justify why they are not submitting SAT or ACT exam scores.
  • Students will not be disadvantaged in the review process if they do not submit SAT or ACT exam scores.
  • If a student chooses to submit SAT or ACT, Scripps will superscore the respective exam across test dates.
  • Students should not jeopardize their health or the health of their families to take the SAT or ACT exam.
  • International students educated outside of the U.S. are required to submit the TOEFL or IELTS exam. Scripps will accept the TOEFL IPT Plus for China exam and the TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition exam until in-person testing resumes. An international student may request a waiver if their primary language is English or the language of instruction of their high school is English by emailing [email protected] after submitting an application.
  • The deadline for changing a decision about submitting standardized test scores is December 4 for Early Decision I students and January 18 for Early Decision II and Regular Decision students. Students may update their decision about submitting standardized test scores by emailing [email protected].
  Non-Finalist

Students who are not selected as a Finalist for the National College Match Process.

Non-Participating Finalist

Students who become Finalists, but do not participate in the National College Match Process.

Non-Match Finalist

Students who do not match with a college through the National College Match Process.
