Aleah Booker is a senior from Houston, Texas majoring in Cellular/Molecular Neuroscience on the premed track. This is her third year working in the Office of Admission, and for her final year at Scripps, she will serve as the Overnight and Outreach Coordinator for the ambassador team. Other than being an Admission Ambassador, Aleah is a member of Watu Weusi and the Quest Scholars Network and is a research assistant at the Keck Science Center. This summer, she worked as an undergraduate research scholar in the Grass Neuroscience Laboratory at the Marine Biological Laboratory in Woods Hole, MA. In addition to being interested in how neuronal processes impact our daily lives, she is interested in medicine and how social determinants of health affect patient care and community healthy advocacy. In her free time, she can be found getting a drink at the Motley, at the local spin studio in Claremont Village or napping in SCORE.
