Scripps College ranks 30th on the U.S. News & World Report annual rankings of America’s Best Liberal Arts Colleges for 2019. Scripps ranks high—16th overall—among high school counselors surveyed. Counselors were asked to rate schools based on their insights and knowledge, in addition to their views of each college’s academic record, curriculum, faculty, programs, and graduates. In addition, in 2019 Scripps College was ranked in the Top 100 for Best Undergraduate Teaching and Best Value School.
Top-tier placement by U.S. News & World Report is measured by key factors such as academic reputation, selectivity and faculty resources. Assessment of data from several national liberal arts colleges are gathered from each college and used as indicators of academic excellence.
Forbes Magazine ranks Scripps College as one of America’s top colleges, with an overall ranking of #10 in the West Private Colleges 2018 list. Scripps comes in at #51 among all private colleges, and #63 in overall.
