Create a comprehensive business plan to identify mission-aligned partners who will help us achieve our goals in terms of revenue generation, reach, and reputation with audiences who share our values. Scripps will become a destination campus where discovery, community, and creativity coexist every day.

January 1, 2020 update:

  • 2019 summer conferences and programming generated a 354% increase in revenue, bringing in a total of $695,000.
  • Nearly 80% of 2019 clients were retained. Our largest summer conference, Havaya Arts, has been added as an annual partner.
  • The implementation team continues to work on the initiative, with a focus on developing both a marketing plan and business plan.

May 1, 2019 update:

  • Using a newly developed revenue-generation plan, Scripps will increase summer programming and partnerships while honoring core mission
  • Summer 2019 projected revenue: $448,000 (293% increase over summer 2018)
  • Seeking long-term partnerships, both in summer and throughout the year
