There are two books contained in a museum board wrapper in this offering from the Press. Two of the beginning students in the Typography class told their stories of transformation at Scripps through Xerox transfer images. Both the books are multiple accordion structures. Noelle Cole’s book, Sugar Heart Flower Smile, has you looking through doors and windows at hand-colored flowers that she photographed on the Scripps College campus. Maria Hidalgo’s book, First Impressions, is a view of San Francisco from a native of Ecuador who wants to live there. The books are printed by letterpress on Starwhite Vicksburg with Xerox transfer images. The size is 8″ x 9″. Maria’s book is bound in silver bookcloth and Noelle’s is in Tyvek.
