Project Features


When fully funded, The Nucleus will provide:

  • Teaching labs and prep spaces for study in biology, physics, chemistry, environmental science, and interdisciplinary courses
  • Student-faculty collaboration spaces, including meeting rooms, student lounges, study niches, and a computer lab
  • Outdoor courtyards and plazas
  • An art installation
  • New office spaces for faculty and laboratory coordinators
  • A rooftop greenhouse

Thanks to several generous donors, the College broke ground on this transformational initiative in May 2022. However, additional support is needed.
