Only two percent of women who graduate from college attended a women’s college, yet these graduates comprise 33 percent of women on Fortune 1000 boards and 20 percent of women in Congress. LinkedIn compiled a list of such notable alumnae, including journalist Diane Sawyer from Wellesley College, Meryl Streep from Vassar College, and former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords ’93.
