In the Media: Professor of Art Ken Gonzales-Day Discusses California’s History of Racialized Violence with Jefferson Public Radio

CLAREMONT, California - August 13, 2019

He said, “I wanted to write a book to clearly demonstrate racialized violence was active in California, and that it wasn’t just some sort of race-neutral wild-west frontier sort of activity, which is what many people thought at the time.”
