Scripps College Wins Four CASE Awards of Excellence

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District VII recognized Scripps College with two 2013 Gold Awards for outstanding work in communications and marketing. This year’s awards will be presented at the CASE District VII Conference Awards Luncheon on March 2 in San Francisco.

One of the Gold Awards acknowledged the creativity of a publication designed to mark the Scripps College Academy’s 10-year anniversary. The second Gold Award recognized an admission recruitment brochure that has a customized rendition of the iconic “Rosie the Riveter” image on its cover.

The College’s alumnae magazine won Silver in the category of Communications & Marketing Programs – College and University General Interest Magazines under 29,999 circulation. The Scripps College Honor Roll of Donors was awarded Bronze in the Communications & Marketing Programs – Fundraising Publications – Print Annual Reports and Fund Reports.

The Awards of Excellence highlight the outstanding work of dedicated, talented individuals who help advance the cause of education. Experts from disciplines throughout the district judge the entries in more than 70 categories and select the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners for each category.
