Linda Pollack with Kim Pearson

Kim Pearson is a Williams Institute Law Fellow at the UCLA School of Law. She taught a course in Law & Sexuality in Fall 2008 at UCLA School of Law. Ms. Pearson is a graduate of the University of Utah with a B.A. in English (1993) and an M.A. in British and American Literature (1998). She received her J.D. in 2004 from J. Reuben Clark Law School of Brigham Young University, where she served as Vice President of the Minority Law Student Association and was a senior editor on the Law Review. Since January 2005, Pearson has specialized in the family law area while working as an associate at a law firm in Las Vegas. In May 2006, Ms. Pearson’s article, Patriotic Homosocial Discourse, was published in The William and Mary Journal of Women and the Law. She has also published several short pieces of poetry, articles about African-American writers and artists, and runs a book arts workshop.
