Below are the financial aid instructions and deadlines for students applying to Scripps College who want to be considered for federal, state and institutional aid. Students interested in only receiving federal and state grant and loan assistance need only complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The CSS\Financial Aid PROFILE is required to be considered for Scripps College institutional grant assistance.

Other Forms That May Be Required For Your Financial Aid Application

  • Applicants who report on the PROFILE that their parents are separated, divorced or were never married will receive a notification from the College Scholarship Service requesting the noncustodial parent complete the Noncustodial PROFILE. If your noncustodial parent is unable or unwilling to file the Noncustodial PROFILE, you will need to submit a letter explaining your request to have the requirement waived.
  • All parent business owners or partners are required to submit a Business/Farm Supplement for each business or partnership along with the corresponding business tax returns.
  • Trust Information: required if you have or are the beneficiary of a Trust. Please also provide copies of the Terms of the Trust and/or the Trust’s latest 1041.
