|Fine Arts Foundation|
Scripps College Fine Arts Foundation hosts “Art Adventures in the Wild” featuring the PAC 6 Painters, on Wednesday, November 14, at 1:30 p.m. in Hampton Dining Room. PAC 6 Painters are a dedicated, collaborative group of Southern California artists who travel to scenic locations in the western United States to create themed bodies of work that capture the beauty and grandeur of the American landscape. Born to paint, Linda Brown, Marian Fortunati, Nita Harper, Debra Holladay, Laura Wambsgans and Sharon Weaver are plein air artists who have formed a bond through their love of representational art, finding what’s around the bend, and painting on site as well as in the studio. Come hear tales of the artists’ travels in the wild and their collective campfire stories. This lecture is free and open to the public. Attendees are invited to meet the artists at an informal tea following their talk.
