Scripps College Dances

The Scripps College Dance Department is honored to present a concert of varied dance works by students, faculty and guest artists to music ranging from classical Bach to exhilarating live percussion. Highlights of the program include Broken Slippers, a thesis project by senior J. Lindsay Brown that takes a twisted look at fairytale princesses, and Possession, a celebratory West African dance staged by faculty member Phylise Smith. Additional works choreographed by Scripps students and dance faculty will round out the program.
