Established in 2002, Scripps College Academy (SCA) is a free multi-year, college access and success program for high-achieving young women in the greater Los Angeles area. SCA helps students who may lack the resources necessary to prepare for success in top colleges and universities. Through mentorship from Scripps College faculty and staff, participants develop the confidence and skills to be well-prepared college applicants, successful college students, and professionals who create positive, lasting change.
Scripps College Academy begins with an intensive summer residential experience and continues with programming and mentoring throughout high school and college.
Community Outreach Programs
SCA provides a number of services to the local community, including Campus Call . These programs are open to female students and do not require prior admission to the SCA Scholars program.
