Research interests: My research interests are in clinical psychology with a focus on culture and language. Within cross-cultural (national) and trans-national (international) frameworks, I am interested in the measurement, validation, and adaptation of stress, appraisal, coping, and psychopathology models across different population groups that vary in ethnic/racial and linguistic variables. Of special interest are trans-national comparative conceptualizations and measurement of anxiety, anger, and curiosity as emotional states and personality traits.
Teaching interests: I am drawn to teaching Cross-Cultural Psychology, Research methods and Statistics, Introductory Psychology, and Abnormal Psychology, among others.
